When is Winter Wonderland open?
Winter Wonderland kicks off on Wednesday, November 22 and runs through December 31st. Winter Wonderland is open every night from 6 to 10 pm, including holidays! Yes, Thanksgiving night, Christmas Eve, Christmas and New Years Eve.
How much is it to get in?
We ask for a suggested to donation of $10 per vehicle or $20 per bus load. All proceeds from the gate at Winter Wonderland benefit TARC, Inc. TARC, Inc. is Shawnee County’s most experienced provider of service and support for children, adults and families with developmental, intellectual and related disabilities. All proceeds from Winter Wonderland benefit TARC programming and helps TARC continue to provide these much needed supports as we have for 63 years.

Yes! Winter Wonderland is open every night from 6 to 10 pm, including all holidays.
Is Winter Wonderland open during rain or snow?
We are open when it’s clear out, when it’s raining and even when it’s snowing. We will close if road conditions deem it necessary. Please be aware, that rain does create a challenge to keep all the lights on at Winter Wonderland. Our groups of volunteers and Parks & Recreation Staff works hard to keep the lights on, but we can’t always beat mother nature!

What does Winter Wonderland raise funds for?
Winter Wonderland is the largest fundraiser for TARC, Inc. in Topeka. The funds raised from the event help TARC to continue to provide excellent service, support and advocacy to 2,500 children, families and adults in Topeka & Shawnee County with developmental, intellectual and related disabilities and delays.
